Wilson Combat TRIM Rail System

Wilson Combat has introduced a new free floating rail system called the T.R.I.M system. The TRIM been designed to be as compact as possible. It has a picatinny rail along the top, with screw holes along the sides and bottom to allow the attachment of short picatinny rails where they are needed.

The TRIM will be available in four lengths: 7.3" (Carbine), 9.3" (Mid Length), 10.4" (SBR) and 12.6" (Rifle). They weigh 10 oz, 11.5 oz, 12.2 oz and 13.9 oz respectively and are priced from $269.95.

It’s heavy but the trade off is easy to install and take off (no vice, no receiver block, and no nut wrench).

Looks like an angular version of a JP Modular Hand Guard with less mounting point options for the movable rails.

However, if mounting the rails is less of a hassle than on the JP version (in which it is annoyingly difficult) the lack of mounting points could easily be overlooked.

Regardless, it would be interesting to see how this feels in the hand compared to the JP.

11-12oz mid isn’t that heavy. But why would I want to take it off at all? Let alone with no tools? This Isn’t the ugliest handguard out there, but it’s no DD OmegaX either.

Price and availability will be comical if it’s comical from Wilson Combat.

Ugh, no edits on comments. *comical coming from

Also, maybe it’s just me, but southern accents in product videos rarely win me over. Ex “this-a-way”

Taking the rail off is needed to change the barrel. Having the ability to do it with one simple tool is a plus.
